Before
100 years,
connected through people

It was an era when the working conditions in rural areas had changed, and women had actively begun working outside. Shinano Kenshi was experiencing labor shortages, and began to take a new approach to employment. Instead of bringing people to the factories from rural areas, we decided to place factories in the rural areas, and in 1967 the Nagato Factory was opened, followed by the Sanada factory in 1968. Then, in an effort to actively provide work for an aging society, in 1984 we established CS Denki, which offered short working hours, a shift system, and work suitable for elderly persons. While we were fulfilling CSR with our employment practices, at the same time, our 100 year history was being connected by the efforts of these people.

Future
Work-life balance
and productivity improvements

We have received no small number of awards for being a company which actively makes efforts towards promotions and work field expansion for women, and encourages the creation of a workplace environment where both men and women can work comfortably. Furthermore, by continuing the indirect business productivity boosting activity, we are changing the quality of work, reducing overtime hours and allowing energy to be put into more creative work. To do that, internal and external communication is essential. By cherishing the connection between people, Shinano Kenshi is weaving an unbreakable bond which leads into the future.
